Come dressed in your favourite ballerina (or ballerino!) outfit and dance along with Aisling and Amelia as Eileen O'Hely reads the story of two very different girls who become friends through their shared passion for dance. Choreograph your own ballet routine and make your own paper dancer puppet to take home. Suitable for ages 4-8 who love dancing, craft and making friends. No dance experience required!
About the book:
Budding ballerina Aisling is delighted when Miss Karissa invites her to an afternoon dance class. But another ballerina, Amelia, is already in the studio, and she only has one foot. Aisling's initial awkwardness puts the pairing off to a rocky start, but they discover common interests and become good friends. On concert day they perform to a standing ovation, but Amelia is worried. Now that their dance is over, will their friendship continue?
