Welcome families and kids that love books! Our Reading and Writing Day Camps feature two different authors - you can book into either of their individual sessions as a family or individual, or children can book into the Day Camp - to meet both authors and play bookish games in between their workshops!
Drawing Aliens with Peter Carnavas
Join Peter Carnavas for a drawing session and to hear about his new book Leo and Ralph! Peter will discuss the ideas behind Leo and Ralph and teach you how to draw aliens.
Writing Funny Scenes with Anton Clifford-Motopi
Join debut author Anton Clifford-Motopi for a writing workshop built out of his novel To and Fro. In this writing workshop Anton will guide you through using different types of humour to make stories funny and engaging. Anton will read funny scenes from his new book To and Fro. Kids will talk about why they think the scene is funny, discussing different types of humour which kids will then use to write their own funny scenes.
