Join Wenda Shurety in-conversation with Zewlan Moore as she launches her latest picture book, One Book Was All It Took. Wenda will be answering questions about the inspiration for the story and doing a reading. There will be rainbows and cupcakes!
Wenda is a children’s author who loves to write stories about nature and the magical world of the imagination. She has six picture books published with another coming out 2023. Eva’s Imagination was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year 2019, and Pear of Hope won the Picture Book of the Year at the Forevability Awards 2022. Both Eva’s Imagination and Backyard Magic were read on ABC’s Play School. She lives in Brisbane with her husband, daughter and her three adopted fur babies.
Both the Family ticket and Single ticket can be for an individual or for a family of 1-5 people. The Family Ticket includes a copy of the book, and the Single ticket does not. When purchasing your ticket please advise how many attendees the ticket is for in the notes.
If Where The Wild Things Are cancels an event, we will try to reschedule it for a later date. If we cannot reschedule the event, or if you are unable to attend on the amended date, your payment will be refunded in full. Except in special circumstances, if you cancel a booking for, or are unable to attend an event, Where The Wild Things Are cannot provide a refund.
