Spend the day between our two bookstores - Avid Reader and Where the Wild Things Are - reading, writing, and discussing everything books.

Meet author Peter Carnavas and learn about telling stories. Join Candice Lemon-Scott as she launches the first book in her brand new series, Eco Rangers: Pelican in Peril. Invent your own special school of mysteries (think Hogwarts, the Wundrous Society, or the Faraway Tree), then create different houses for it (you will earn story points for your house throughout the day)!

We will do bookish riddles and play celebrity heads (for different book characters!), figure out clues in our scavenger hunt. Design a page in a special zine (you'll get to take a copy home!). We’ll also have a silent reading party and play bookish games! Ages 8-12

General ticket price includes food and drink for the day and all workshop materials - all you need to bring is a water bottle.

Ticket + Books price includes everything in the general ticket and BOTH The Elephant by Peter Carnavas and Eco Rangers by Candice Lemon-Scott.

Check out our other Day Camp in the first week of the holidays for 10-14 years.
