About The Elephant:

Everything looked neat and colourful from up here, but life was a bit grey and
untidy once you were down there; once you climbed down the tree and shared the
house with an elephant.

Since she can remember, Olive’s dad has been sad, and she imagines a big, grey
elephant following him everywhere he goes. Every day Olive sees the elephant,
and every day she wishes it would go. With the help of Grandad and her best
friend, Arthur, Olive sets out to chase the elephant away.

Praise for The Elephant:

‘Ultimately, it’s a story about the empathetic and resilient Olive and her ability to
find joy in unlikely places. It is highly recommended for young readers aged six
and up. 4.5 stars.’ Books + Publishing
